NOTE FROM GRACE HAUKWA, THE CEO/FOUNDER OF THE NABTRY INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL DANCERS:
"African women are known to be strong. They carry the weight of the continent and their roots with pride. This is especially visible for those who have risen to global prominence and grabbed the attention of the world. I am certainly one of them. I am from Kenya and I consider myself to be a beautiful, charismatic, Intelligent, electrifying, and a worldclass cultural dancer.

Most importantly I am a leader. For me leadership is not only fundamentally about communication and dialog, it is also about having a dream, a vision and being able to develop a shared sense of destiny while showing others how they can realize their own hopes and desires within that vision.

I was born and raised in Naivasha, Kenya, a BEAUTIFUL Country on the Eastern part of Africa. I attended Contra Costa College USA and University of California Berkeley USA. Originally I was studying Environmental Sciences and Molecular Biology to become a Research Scientist but because of the love I always had for cultural dance, I switched my major to Business Management with the intent to own my own Entertainment Company one day.

With this vision based on my passion for dance and how men and women could be portrayed in the world of entertainment, I have worked hard to elevate cultural dance to an even higher level. I honestly believe in full ability to extend ones talent. So, to all of you, I would say never limit yourselves just because society is trying to lead you to a certain direction. Instead of being a prisoner of our society, just look deep inside yourself and reach that power within you to maximize your ability to achieve unconditionally what you can. Remember, each human being was created with a set of assets and skills. It is up to you to retrieve the best of what you have to put into surface of humanity."

With these inspiring words, it has become clear that Grace Haukwa's message is to empower men and women, urging both genders to work hard and to help each other. According to the group CEO/Founder, "NabTry dancers are all about fun, courage, flexibility, passion, and most importantly the vision to go above and beyond people's expectations."

Grace is dedicated to building a strong network of African dancers to help musicians find cultural dancers for not only their music videos production but also for their concerts, tours and cultural events. Needless to say, in the U.S.A., Nabtry dancers have done an amazing job promoting african cultural dance and music while on tour with groups and artists such as the three-time Kora Award winning singer and performer Awilo Longomba, Samba Mapangala, American Rapper E-40, as well as the upcoming singer from the Democratic Republic of Congo J-blue LLP, King Kester Emeneya and many more.

As the group is getting ready to celebrate its 5th year anniversary, NabTry dancers are now comprised of more than 60 of the best cultural dancers in the United States alone and over 256 best cultural dancers worldwide. In 2009, Grace Haukwa's vision led to her joining forces with one of the best entertainment companies in the world, Tuff Gig Entertainment aiming to bring you the best performances featuring world class super-stars. Grace is Tuff Gig Entertainment's President of the Marketing and Promotions Division.

With proven superb professionalism, NabTry dancers have been highlighting numerous cultural events with artists around the globe and the dance group has been performing for three years in a row at the IRAWMA (International Reggae And World Music Awards).
